As 2022 draws to a close, we wanted to reflect on the successes of 9xb and our clients over the last twelve months. Working with our clients, we have continued to push what it means to be a successful eCommerce platform in the modern age, taking our clients' websites above and beyond the mark of their competitors. These achievements have not gone unnoticed, and we are proud that several of our clients have won awards at prestigious eCommerce awards throughout 2022.
Held in July, The UK Digital Growth Awards recognise, reward and celebrate leading eCommerce businesses and agencies working in the UK to transform business, revolutionise the customer experience and journey, all while adding real tangible value to their platform.
As the UK’s leading organic flour brand, it was great to see Doves Farm win the Best UX in eCommerce award after their shift in focus with its direct-to-consumer sales channel and new website launch saw transactions increase by a staggering 750%.
This new consumer-first store made content a key driving force through advice, recipes, and clear labelling, while also focusing on features such as dietary and lifestyle filters, improved merchandising, and intelligent search functionality to boost site visitor numbers by 350%.
The Direct Commerce Awards, which took place in June, serves to recognise the achievements of the very best B2B and B2C direct and multichannel retailers. With 90 years of expertise, it comes as no surprise that Watco - the market leading manufacturer and direct supplier of industrial strength paint, repair, and maintenance materials - came away with the award for Best B2B Performance.
Traditionally a catalogue business, 9xb modernised Watco’s eCommerce experience to match their market leading standards. Through the implementation of a coverage calculator, intelligent product filters, and a click and collect service, Watco has become a best in class eCommerce website, truly worthy of the award.
Again it was Doves Farm’s time to shine as the UK eCommerce Awards 2022 rolled around in September, where they won Best UX in eCommerce Less than 100 Employees.
The eCommerce Awards recognise excellence in the world of eCommerce, celebrating the most innovative and market leading online retailers.
Celebrating a win alongside Doves Farm was Williams Trade & Plumbing who took home the award for Best B2B Website Launch.
As the lead plumbing merchant in the south of England, Williams needed an eCommerce store that could meet the growing needs of their customers. With the use of a new Peracto powered eCommerce store that promotes online service through expertly designed and sophisticated features, such as the quotes tool, multiple payment methods and delivery options, Williams have seen new users rise by 142%, helping them to stand out leaps and bounds above their competitors.
9xb couldn’t be happier with the success seen from the clients we work with this year, and are confident that 2023 is going to push those boundaries even further. Our portfolio of satisfied clients continues to grow year on year, so if you are looking to take your business to the next level, please get in touch with one of our experts.
